Coronavirus Policy Update
(Updated 2 June 2020)
Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace (RCCW) is closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and from the beginning of the pandemic we have been following the advice issued by the UK and Scottish Governments.
The health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and other contacts is our priority and will remain so.
All of our offices have been closed to the public since Monday 23 March, but we remain fully open for business.
We understand that clients will be concerned to know that their affairs are being managed, and RCCW are committed to continuing our highly regarded service to the extent possible in these most difficult and challenging circumstances.
All our staff have been asked to remain safe at home while the current lockdown continues, and we have taken the decision to furlough a number of our staff while the current crisis continues. That means they are no longer available to work. However, we have retained sufficient staff to continue to process current work, and to deal with new enquiries.
For current work, if you contact your usual RCCW contact using the normal email address you will be advised whether he or she is still working and available, or you will be provided with an alternative email address to contact.
We apologise for putting clients to this additional work, and we have to acknowledge that there may be a short delay in responding to you, but we know that our clients and other contacts will understand why we have had to review our working practices and we know that everyone will bear with us during this period.
If you have a new enquiry, we can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org and again we will respond as soon as possible.
With Government advice being updated regularly, we will update this statement from time to time as we move out of lockdown and begin to re-open our offices. Re-opening will only happen if we are satisfied that we can do so in a manner which protects our clients and staff.
