RCCW Charity Committee News
The staff at Raeburn, Christie, Clark & Wallace run a Charity Committee which each year nominates a different charity to raise funds for through various social events and dedicated days at the office. Following on last years success in raising over £6,500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the charity committee this year nominated two charities to help; the Aberlour Childcare Trust (www.aberlour.org.uk) and the Anchor Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (www.friendsofanchor.org/) . So far, £2,280.00 has been raised through a variety of activities such as Cake & Candy Sales, a Soup & Sandwich Day, regular football sweepers, dress down days, staff making donations instead of sending Christmas cards and the year-long staff tuck shop. Activities continue throughout the year until a new charity or charities are nominated by the Committee in September, 2010. Any assistance towards our fundraising efforts is gratefully received.
