Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace staff have put their hearts, souls and waistlines into raising money this year for their chosen charity, the ARCHIE Foundation.
A number of fundraising events have been undertaken by the entire firm including a mammoth bake-off by the Charity Committee for the Cake and Bake Day, where they donned their Nigella hats to bake cakes and fancy pieces to tempt everyone to empty their pockets for ARCHIE.
Joan Meldrum of the firm’s Charity Committee commented: “It is a lot of work to organise these fundraisers but they are really worth it and we are delighted with our efforts to raise money for the Special Nurse Appeal. Our fundraising events run throughout the year for our chosen charity and we have held several this year already including Quiz and Bingo Nights, Soup and Sandwich days, a Burns Supper and of course our very popular Cake Day!”
She added, “ARCHIE is a charity which is very close to the hearts of many people within our firm and we are delighted that our staff have got behind this very worthwhile cause to raise £2,400.”
