Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace (RCC&W), a leading Aberdeen and North-east legal firm, are delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Gibb as Principal of their Inverurie Branch.
Amanda returns to RCC&W from Burness Paull, where she has worked for the last five years. There Amanda initially dealt with residential and commercial property clients and then moved on to join their Construction & Projects team.
Amanda began her journey in the legal profession at RCC&W, working part time while still in education and gaining experience in an array of legal matters. Having originally attained a degree in Architecture, Amanda developed a keen interest in Law and went on to gain her Law Degree through the Law Society of Scotland. She completed her Traineeship in the firm’s Residential Property department, based at their city centre Estate Agency Office on Union Street. Amanda is also a proficient IT user and was instrumental in developing the firm’s website.
Having undertaken an alternative route to qualification, Amanda is keen to support other people entering the profession. She is a Career Mentor for both Aberdeen University and The Law Society of Scotland.
As an Associate Solicitor, Amanda will deal primarily with residential property sales and purchases, as well as private client matters, including Wills and Powers of Attorney. Amanda has previously worked in the Inverurie Branch and lives in the town, giving her excellent knowledge of the area and a network of local connections.
Amanda said, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to return to the firm where I began my legal career and I look forward to assisting clients in Inverurie and the surrounding areas. It is great to be reacquainted with former colleagues and to meet some new faces who have joined the firm since I was last here”.
Keith Allan, Managing Partner at the firm, is delighted to welcome Amanda back to RCC&W. He stated, “With over 10 years’ varied experience in the profession and an excellent knowledge of our firm and the Inverurie area, Amanda is perfectly suited to this role. She will provide excellent support to our team there and will offer a first class service to our clients.’
