When a child is removed from his or her country of residence (or retained in a different country) by one parent, without the consent of the other, this may constitute Child Abduction. The parent who has not consented to the removal may apply to the court for the return of their child.
Child abduction is a traumatic experience for both the child and the parent and we will act swiftly to start proceedings with a view to securing the return of your child.
The law relating to child abduction is complex and our Family Law team has the knowledge and experience to guide you through and explain these complexities.
For further information on how we can help you or to arrange to meet to discuss your individual circumstances, please contact Fiona Coutts.
