As we approach the end of the year, we have been reflecting on the scale of work that has been delivered in 2025 and also on what has been a period of significant progress for the firm.

It has been a year of investing in our people and our systems, and our future—and we are  incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

Over the last twelve months we have:

  • Delivered a strong financial performance, enabling us to reinvest meaningfully back into the business.
  • Upgraded our technology, including significant improvement to our software and hardware, ensuring our teams have the tools they need to work efficiently and provide the best possible service to clients.
  • Commenced improvements to our workspace including planned upgrades to our reception and meeting rooms.
  • Welcomed new colleagues across several departments, namely commercial property, corporate, private client and residential, strengthening our expertise and capacity.
  • Focused on training and development, supporting our people to grow and adapt.
  • Laid the foundations for smarter, more efficient working.

What stands out most is the collective effort behind these milestones. Across every team, people have shown commitment, adaptability, and a genuine desire to move the firm forward. It’s this sense of shared purpose that makes our progress possible.

Across our Commercial Property, Corporate, Residential and Private Client teams, the scale of work delivered in 2025 has been exceptional.

We have:

  • Acted in the winding up of more than 375 executry estates.
  • Completed 801 residential sales and 683 residential purchases, continuing to provide a reliable, efficient and client‑centred residential conveyancing service.
  • Completed over 1,700 plot sales, including a significant number of affordable housing transactions, supporting the delivery of essential new homes and contributing to communities across the region
  • Acted in over £88 million worth of development land acquisitions, helping bring forward new residential and mixed‑use sites with long‑term impact.
  • Advised on a strong and diverse portfolio of corporate transactions including business sales and purchases, supporting owners, investors and growing organisations through key stages of their commercial journey.

We have continued to support clients across diverse sectors- from real estate, rural and construction to energy, fishing, retail and professional services- showcasing the breadth and strength of our combined commercial and corporate offering.

These achievements reflect not just the expertise within our teams, but also the collaboration, client commitment and resilience shown throughout the year. They also demonstrate our collective commitment to delivering a high‑quality, solutions‑focused service to every client, regardless of the scale or nature of the instruction.

As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with strong foundations, a talented and committed team, and a clear focus on innovation and client service. We are excited to see what we will achieve together in the year to come.
