Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace (RCCW) is closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and from the beginning of the pandemic we have been following the advice issued by the UK and Scottish Governments. The health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and other contacts is our priority and will remain so.

We have remained open for business since the first national lockdown in March 2021, albeit with many of our staff working from home since that time. With the relaxation of most restrictions in August 2021 all of our staff returned to working in our offices from Monday 30 August.

Further guidance was issued by the Scottish Government in December 2021 in response to the emerging threat of the Omicron variant, and as a result the majority of our fee earners returned to home working from Monday 20 December 2021, and will do so until we are advised that it is safe to return to office based working. However we remain open for business and all of our offices remain open.

Unfortunately Covid 19 in whatever variant still remains a threat and with a view to keeping our staff and clients as safe as possible at this time all of our offices remain closed to the public, except by prior appointment. Strict Covid protocols are in place at all of our offices.

We are able to meet clients “virtually” on a number of platforms, and we are also happy to arrange home visits where travel to our offices – or virtual meetings – is not an option.

We recommenced our property service, including sales valuations and property viewing appointments, in July 2021 and our property services remain available subject to the strict COVID protocols which we are continuing to keep in place.  More information about our practices can be found here for valuation visits and property viewings.

Like all businesses, we are disappointed that further restrictions on office working have been imposed at a time when we thought that we were emerging from the pandemic. However all of our solicitors and other professional staff have considerable experience of home working and we are confident that we can maintain our highly regarded service to all clients during this current difficult period.
