Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace (RCCW) has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak and from the beginning of the pandemic we have been following the advice issued by the UK and Scottish Governments. The health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and other contacts is our priority and will remain so.

We have remained open for business since the first national lockdown in March 2021, albeit with many of our staff working from home at that time. With the relaxation of most restrictions in August 2021 all of our staff returned to working in our offices on Monday 30 August.

We had to revert to home working in December 2021 in response to the supplementary guidance issued by the Scottish Government in December 2021 to combat the Omicron variant, but after the relaxing of restrictions in January 2022 the majority of our fee earners have now returned to our offices – albeit we have adopted a hybrid working policy and some of our staff opted to work part of their week from home.  We remain open for business and all of our offices remain open for business.

We recommenced our property service, including sales valuations and property viewing appointments, in July 2021 and our property services remain available subject to strict COVID protocols which we are continuing to keep in place.  More information about our practices can be found here for valuation visits and property viewings.

Following the First Minister’s recent relaxation of Covid 19  protocols, from Wednesday 23 March we will be opening all of our offices to the public, with no need for pre-booked appointments as a condition of entering the offices.   However, Covid protocols remain in place at all of our offices, and in line with The First Minister’s guidance, we will continue to require all staff and visitors to wear face masks in the common areas of the office, and we will maintain the sanitising stations and the other PPE measures which currently exist.  We respectfully request that if you have tested positive that you do not attend any of our offices. 

While we can once again meet clients in our offices, we are also able to meet clients “virtually” on a number of platforms, and we are also happy to arrange home visits where travel to our offices – or virtual meetings – is not an option.
