Stonehaven Property Feature
This week our property feature is on homes in the Stonehaven area. Located approximately 16 miles south of Aberdeen on the Aberdeenshire coast, Stonehaven is an attractive harbour town with good transport links via the AWPR and rail. Boasting a lesiure centre, renowned open air heated seawater swimming pool, golf course and numerous independent shops it is an ideal place to live, providing easy access to Aberdeen City and the beautiful local countryside. The town has primary and secondary schooling, a Co-op supermarket, post office, GP surgery and dentist. The town attracts tourists thanks to its attractive harbour and the stunning Dunnottar castle. Stonehaven is well served by cafes, pubs, restaurants and fish and chip shops. Its market square hosts a monthly farmers’ market. The town and nearby area offers a range of different properties suitable for all ages, and lifestages, including retirement specific communities, first time buyers and families moving up the property ladder.
