Experience to assist you
Fiona is an experienced and able family lawyer, and in her almost 20 year career to date, has dealt almost exclusively with family law matters. She has a wealth of knowledge to apply to her more complex and difficult cases. She is also trained in Collaborative Practice and is committed to resolving her cases in a non confrontational fashion if possible. However, she is also an experienced litigator should court action become necessary.
Going the extra mile
Fiona has a calm, sympathetic and pragmatic approach, which is of tremendous benefit in the often stressful field of family law practice. Her experience in the family law field means that other solicitors often refer their more complicated cases to her to deal with.
Fiona has in the past tutored at the University of Aberdeen in both the Professional Ethics, and Family Law/Civil Court practice classes in the Diploma in Legal Practice. She is a member of the Family Law Association and the Aberdeen Bar Association and takes an interest in keeping abreast of the latest developments and reform in the arena of Family Law.
