Inverurie Property Feature
This week our property feature focuses on property for sale in and around Inverurie. Inverurie is approximately 16 miles north west of Aberdeen, and 10 miles from Bennachie. It is situated in the valley of the river Don, and is in the heart of Garioch. It’s an attractive market town featuring both independent shops and well known high street retailers. Situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire it is well known for Scotland’s largest livestock market, the Thainstone Mart. The town has many amenities including four primary schools and secondary schooling at Inverurie academy, a swimming pool, community centre and local hospital. It is home to the Inveruruie Locos who play at Harlaw Park and Garioch RFC, based at Kellands Park. The town has good transport links north and south via the A96 and links to Aberdeen and Inverness via rail.
