Tax efficient investment planning
Inheritance Tax is usually paid by an estate upon death, with a tax charge of 40% being applied to the amount of your estate above the available nil rate band. The standard nil rate band is presently £325,000, and from 6th April 2020 the additional residential nil rate band can in some cases add £175,000 to this allowance.
Our experienced teams can help you assess these options which can include gifting, utilising Annual Allowances, appropriate Will writing and the use of Trusts.
